He advises public and private sector clients such as Standard Bank, Eskom, Tshwane Rapid Transit, Great North Transport, Housing Development Agency (HDA), Social Housing Regulatory Authority (SHRA), North West Housing Corporation, South African Swedish International Housing Company (SASIHC), South Africa Forestry Company Ltd, Polokwane Municipality among others.

Patience was a director in the Department of Trade and Industry (DTI) within the Co-operatives Development Unit responsible for Policy, Legislation and Strategy. In her business development career, she played a crucial role in the development of one of the most developmental Policy; legislation and strategy for Co-operatives in South Africa. She also developed the first incubation Policy for South Africa and played a pivotal role in establishing a number of incubators. She has and is serving clients such as the Housing Development Agency (HDA), Mogale City, Centre for Affordable Housing Finance in Africa (CAHF) and the Department of Trade and Industry (Dti) among others.

Prof. Mabutho Sibanda is currently Dean and Head of the School of Accounting, Economics and Finance at the University of KwaZulu-Natal. Prior to his appointment as Dean and Head of School, Mabutho served as Academic Leader and Programme Manager for the postgraduate diploma in finance, banking and investment management for 3 years.
